Saletoga Sands Resort & Spa, Matatufu

The hotel is located in a magical spot near To Sua Ocean Trench and beautiful beaches. The rooms, while needing some TLC with some windows not functioning properly, were spotless. The service was top-notch with friendly and accommodating staff. The dining experience offered a fantastic array of tropical fruits and cereals. The facilities were well above average, with a swim-up bar for added enjoyment.

The hotel offers amazing outdoor showers adding a cool touch to the overall experience. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and private. The staff is unbelievably friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. While the price is affordable, there were some service issues in terms of cleaners' attitudes. The location, although beautiful, might be a bit far from the main attractions in Apia and the airport.

The hotel offers a great range of activities to keep you busy during your stay. The massage at the day spa is top-notch, and the snorkeling opportunities are fairly good. However, be cautious about the babysitter fees as the hotel takes a hefty cut, so paying them directly is recommended. The rooms would benefit from ceiling fans and bedside lamps for added comfort, but you'll have plenty to do to fill your days here.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a lovely sarong provided as a holiday souvenir. The service was excellent, with a very welcoming and friendly staff that catered to everyone's needs. The location, although a bit isolated, offered a perfect island getaway experience, great for snorkeling and exploring local attractions. The dining experience was a mix of awesome pastries and unhealthy processed food. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, making my stay enjoyable overall.
